There's an aquatic mammal on the loose, and staff at the Wildlife Park are looking for help to track it down.
A large Canadian otter escaped from its enclosure last week and, despite extensive efforts to trap and recapture it, the animal is still at large, mainly due to the size and nature of the surrounding Curraghs wetlands.
The animal doesn't pose a significant risk to people, although if frightened and cornered it may bite.
Park staff say an attack on small domestic animals or fowl can't be completely ruled out, but is unlikely.
Anyone who sees the otter is asked not to approach or feed it but to call 897323 and report the sighting.
