GIANT LEAP: Female Giant Otter Icana jumps into icy waters at Chester Zoo THIS adorable snap shows a female Otter take a giant leap into icy waters at Chester Zoo.

The Giant Otter, called Icana, arrived in England only a week ago but already looks at home in her new habitat.

Icana, who made waves when she was born at Hamburg Zoo in 2008, shares her new home with male Giant Otter Xingu.

A Giant Otter takes a swim at Chester Zoo Tim Rowlands, Curator of Mammals at Chester Zoo, said: “We are one of very few places to have Giant Otters in Europe so we are thrilled to have them as a new addition to our collection.

"The pair are getting on well and they have been acting fairly frisky already.”
